Carl Leopold Grieben (1826 - 1914) was the author of the well-known "Grieben Travel Guides." Grieben focuses on small areas in his travel guides and describes them in detail based on his own travel experiences. In the present volume, the author describes the Bavarian capital Munich as well as the nearby royal castles of Herrenchiemsee, Hohenschwangau, and Neuschwanstein. This book is a reprint of the original from 1907.
