London, today: He is a record collector, a specialist in extremely rare LPs that he buys and sells. The job title on his business card reads: Vinyl Detective. And some people take this quite literally – like the mysterious Nevada Warren, who hires him for a fortune to find a record for an anonymous client that belongs to the limited production of a tiny Californian jazz label that existed for just one year in the 1950s. Soon, strange deaths begin to accumulate, all of which could be connected to this record. But what could possibly be on it that makes it so incredibly valuable?
