The Potsdam Museum - Forum for Art and History has been located since 2012 in the former Old Town Hall in the historic center of Potsdam and has since attracted attention with numerous exhibitions on local history and art history, while significantly expanding its collections. The present first volume of the new publication series of the Potsdam Museum brings together contributions to the multifaceted and thematically broad research work that underlies the creation of exhibitions - from provenance research to the in-depth exploration of works and biographies of Potsdam artists. With contributions from Tobias Büloff, Mathias Deinert, Jutta Götzmann, Judith Granzow, Uta Kaiser, Wenke Nitz, Thomas Sander, Hannes Wittenberg, and Wilhelm Ziehr.
