Making music, singing, and moving brings great joy to children. They respond with curiosity to sounds, experiment with their voices, and enjoy dancing. They perceive music as a natural part of their environment. The music kindergarten provides educators with the opportunity to integrate music into the daily routine at preschool. Sixteen themes with detailed lesson plans allow for a structured implementation of musical activities. The work includes many didactic suggestions and age-specific information on singing, making music, moving, and conscious listening, in accordance with the new educational guidelines. English songs introduce children playfully to a first foreign language. Activities for instrumental play and dances are described simply and can be easily implemented in mixed-age groups. Special play ideas also consider children under three years old.
