"Hear, Bakabu" is a series of music albums featuring newly composed children's songs, with lyrics developed in collaboration with a linguist. Through this, children learn the German language playfully, incidentally, and with enjoyment. The target audience is all children, regardless of their background and native language. The songs are suitable for children aged 2 to 10 years throughout the German-speaking region. What is absolutely new about it? Each song includes a specific, scientifically based language exercise. All songs are based on a system of three competency levels, developed in accordance with common guidelines for assessing language proficiency. The language support aspect and language focus are defined, described, and indicated for each song. The songs address themes from children's everyday lives and thus provide linguistic tools. Each song is released prior to its publication.
