Author: Robert Musil Robert Musil was born in 1880 in Klagenfurt and died in 1942 in Geneva. After completing his engineering studies in Vienna, he studied philosophy and psychology in Berlin and earned his doctorate with a thesis on the epistemology of Ernst Mach. Today, he is primarily known for his unfinished monumental masterpiece "The Man Without Qualities," which is considered one of the greatest literary achievements of modernity.
