The author Friedjung Jüttner was born in 1937 in Breslau. Before the city was bombed, the family moved to the countryside, to Alt-Patschkau. After a stay in a camp in Patschkau, he arrived in 1946 in Lower Saxony, in the Eichsfeld region (Obernfeld and Duderstadt). At the age of eleven, he attended the Augustinian monastery school in the nearby Germershausen. In 1958, he graduated from high school in Münnerstadt (Lower Franconia) and entered the Augustinian order there. After studying theology in Würzburg, he was ordained a priest in 1965. He served as a student chaplain in Freiburg (Switzerland) until 1970. He then left the order and got married. He subsequently studied psychology and psychotherapy in Zurich and wrote a dissertation on a religious psychology topic. Since 1973, he has been running his own psychotherapeutic practice in Zurich. He has published various books and articles on the theory and practice of fate analysis.
