Modular systems are becoming increasingly popular among manufacturing companies to save costs through economies of scale while meeting customer demands. Furthermore, studies confirm the rising number of technical changes, prompting this dissertation to present a model using the approach of release management that a) expands the modular development process and b) ensures the further development of the modular system through two models of technical change management.
