The spectrum of complex and interacting topics surrounding tourism in Asian megacities is vast. Research on these topics is rare and limited. The challenge lies in examining the sustainability of tourism activities in Asian megacities. This book focuses on tourism activities in Jakarta, using Jalan Jaksa, a central area independent of backpackers and youth tourists, as the study area. It explores how Jalan Jaksa exists in the context of the increasing demand for quality tourism and the obstacles to sustainable tourism.
