During the research for an exposé on a large-scale betting fraud in the Europa League, sports editor Severin comes under the scrutiny of Turkish authorities. During a nighttime chase, he is arrested in Eskisehir, and only with the help of Eintracht Frankfurt and their press spokesperson Lydia Heller is he able to return to Germany. Barely back, the 5:1 victory of Eintracht against Bayern on November 2, 2019, leads to an uncomfortable aftermath for Lydia. While the stadium is joyfully celebrating, a staff member from the catering company desperately seeks the press spokesperson's help. She claims to have been raped in the VIP area and asserts that she can identify the perpetrator. However, both Lydia and the police are not convinced. When the alleged rapist is murdered just a week later, the employee comes under suspicion, and Lydia finds herself in a difficult position. What she doesn't yet know is that Severin received a strange Eintracht riddle the night before, the solution to which could have prevented the murder. And the next deadly riddle is already on its way...
