The aim of this volume is to capture the professional communicative competencies of experienced immigrants and thus make a primarily scientific, but also practically relevant contribution to the professional integration of immigrants. In this context, two occupational language tests were developed based on qualitative and quantitative research methods, which are based on the professional communicative competency profiles of the two professions. Furthermore, the test data of the experienced immigrants were analyzed, allowing for the evaluation of the linguistic and communicative competencies of the target group and the tracing of the job-related language acquisition process.
