Product details

Web-based teaching and learning methods are taking over corporate training without fundamentally questioning traditional teaching and learning forms. There are differing viewpoints on the use of these methods, creating a tension both within the company itself and between academia and profit-oriented practice. Katrin Keller explores these tensions with the aim of establishing a complementary relationship between science and practice. In a case study, the author examines the current web-based training measures of a large corporation and develops sustainable applications for e-learning forms in corporate training. Based on this, she formulates strategy- and quality-related implications for a future educational architecture in companies that responds to an increasing demand for consulting.
