Eveline Hipeli examines suitable measures to impart internet skills to young people. The author analyzes which socialization agents can be used as intermediaries and where their opportunities and limitations lie. In addition to age, gender, and school type, creative and critical internet use was investigated as a factor influencing young people's attitudes towards net guidance measures and intermediaries. This is because creative and critical use of the internet requires different knowledge than purely consumption-oriented use.
