Product details
The electricity industry is undergoing a fundamental transformation due to global liberalization efforts. Key features include the separation of the grid business from the integrated value chain of established electricity supply companies, known as unbundling, and the introduction of regulatory efficiency requirements for grid usage fees, referred to as incentive regulation. For the previously less demanding performance management in the natural monopoly area of the grid business, this represents a significant increase in requirements. Andreas Stender is developing a concept for managing an independent electricity grid business within the framework of incentive regulation. His Network Performance Cockpit (NPC) allows for an integrated overall assessment of the key performance areas from the perspective of asset management.
