Eligio Stephen Gallegos grew up in New Mexico. He has Hispanic-Indian roots from his father and Anglo-American roots from his mother. Gallegos studied psychology and developed a method that allows emotional wounds to be healed through one's own consciousness. With the so-called deep imagination, consciousness gradually regains its wholeness. In shamanic journeys, he encounters his own helper forces, often in the form of animals. These guide the individual to those severed potentials of the soul that are meant to be redeemed and liberated. The book "Into Wholeness" describes, through personal experiences, how the method is applied. The author had a childhood that was not always carefree, which triggered the development of deep imagination. He himself processed his failures and rejections in this way.
