This book is the result of many years of regularly celebrating festivals in groups. The festivals described in this book are closely related to me and the people who celebrated these festivals with me – just as your festivals will be connected to you. Therefore, in the introduction, you will find an overview of the various threads of life that have intertwined with the festivals in my life.

The first part discusses the annual cycle, the emergence of the seasons, and how everything is interconnected. The second part, "Toolbox," aims to provide a basic understanding of magical festivals. The third part is dedicated to the eight seasonal festivals. The author first addresses the respective themes of each festival and the cultural-historical background. This is followed by practical suggestions. At the end of each section are the festival stories. They are the most personal part of the book and also a core element. They illustrate how a festival can unfold, what people experience during it, and how they encounter wholeness and healing.
