Der Auschwitz-Prozess
German, Hermann Langbein, 1995Only 3 pieces in stock at third-party supplier
Product details
Between December 20, 1963, and August 20, 1965, the Auschwitz trial took place in Frankfurt am Main. The significance of this trial, which far exceeded its legal purpose, lay in the fact that a German court was compelled to investigate the most extensive and heinous complex of crimes ever committed. More than any scientific attempt to articulate what happened in Auschwitz, the interrogation protocols of this trial force a confrontation with the question of why Auschwitz was possible.
