The question of why suffering exists is as old as humanity itself. People have repeatedly tried to find an answer to it. Yet the problem persists, and above all, the factual existence of suffering remains. One day, my attention was drawn to Jesus' cry on the cross: My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? The encounter with Him, who has experienced the deepest abysses, became an encounter with the greatest love (Chiara Lubich).
