In the second part of the book series Functional Spinal Gymnastics and Back Training, the authors offer a targeted strengthening program with numerous and varied exercises, which are supplemented by additional stretches. The emphasis is on the exercises for strengthening the back and abdominal muscles, which together with Part 1 form a complete training program (without hand tools) for a healthy spine. The book is suitable for trainers, exercise instructors and physiotherapists as well as for laymen and for daily use. Everyone, whether patient or advanced, will find not only exercises, but also the appropriate body positions, as well as methods for performing and increasing the intensity of the load. The book is clearly structured: The strength exercises are arranged according to leg and arm positions, and the stretches according to the various muscle groups.
