Who am I? Where do I come from? What defines my life? Fundamental questions arise when the freelance graphic designer Jael Winterstejn accidentally discovers a gravestone during a summer walk in the Rhine Valley, on which her name is inscribed. The search for the story behind this gravestone becomes not only a journey into her own family's past but also touches on other dark secrets. Questions of guilt and forgiveness, revenge and reconciliation suddenly become very relevant and personal.
