A dog leads a miserable life. First tied up in a backyard, he eventually ends up in a shelter. But no one wants to take him home. People fear him because he looks like a wolf and sometimes behaves like one too. One day, however, a shepherd comes to the shelter. He sees in the dog what he truly is: a good dog! The illustrations by Antoine Guilloppé play with light and shadow and the viewer's perspective. They accompany the moving story with a powerful visual language until its happy ending.
