Lanzarote, on New Year's morning: Henning wants to conquer the steep ascent to Femés by bike. His equipment is inadequate, and he has no provisions. As he struggles against the wind and the incline, he reflects on his life situation. Everything is actually fine; the children are healthy, and the job is decent. But Henning feels overwhelmed.
