Quality management is risky - not only for organizations but also for society. Systems theory and organizational ethics can help to understand the risks of quality control and derive consequences for the management of the "next society." Organizational ethics examines the conditions for decision quality in organizations and organized networks. Unlike classical business and corporate ethics, it also addresses the contradictions of management and their effects on organizations and society. In this sense, the present study explores tabooed observational perspectives and blind spots in moral communication within the context of quality management. The organizational pathologies of quality management are examined using a systems-theoretical approach.
