What is new about this new Zurich Gospel Synopsis? For the first time, all four Gospels (i.e., not only the so-called synoptic ones but also John) can be fully compared in continuous reading along with their parallels. The new translation of the Zurich Bible, known for its philological accuracy and contemporary language level, is used in its new spelling. The synoptic arrangement is based on the recognized and widely accepted scientific edition by Kurt Aland in the German-speaking world. Although significantly more material is presented compared to previous German-language synopses, the award-worthy layout by the Dutch typographer Christoph Noordzij, who is also responsible for the design of the new Zurich Bible, and the use of his specially developed font 'Collis' for the Bible typesetting, enable a previously unseen presentation.
