Abstract: This paper provides an overview of the fundamental principles of civil service status law regarding appointments, as well as the legal basis and consequences of the nullity of such appointments. Understanding the appointment process is essential for every new civil servant, as they enter a completely new form of "employment." When examining the requirements that an applicant for a civil service position must meet, one inevitably encounters cases where the appointment is "incorrect" due to errors. This paper addresses the legal designation of these "incorrect appointments" and their legal consequences.
