The ambitious plan to build a holiday resort at the Dockkoog beach in Husum is not only met with disapproval from environmentalists. A body is found in the large pool of the Multimar Wattforum in Tönning - quickly, young detective Wiebke Ulbricht and her partner Jan Petersen from the Husum police discover that the deceased is Holger Heiners, the unpopular Dockkoog investor. The millionaire has drowned painfully in the icy North Sea waters - there is no doubt that someone assisted in his demise. Is the murder the work of militant environmentalists, or did Heiners have other enemies? The bloody trail leads to the Baltic Sea coast... The case becomes even more complicated when Wiebke's presumed dead father, Chief Inspector Norbert Ulbricht, suddenly appears in the doorway and, to her shock, involves himself in the investigation.
