Her work has become known worldwide through countless individual prints. For the first time, it is now presented in its entirety. Ninetta Sombart (1925) grew up in Berlin in the home of the legendary national economist and social scientist Werner Sombart. She married in 1947 and moved to America, where she gave birth to four children under often difficult living conditions and began painting to earn a living, achieving overwhelming public recognition. In 1962, she returned to Europe, where she took over the advertising management of an industrial company in Basel.
