The comprehensive amendment of the EBRG by the 2nd EBRG Amendment Act implements the EBR Directive 2009/38/EC. Improved regulations for the participation of European Works Councils, their collaboration with national employee representatives, and the renegotiation of agreements represent the significant changes. The 3rd edition of the EBRG commentary addresses all the frequently supplemented and newly structured regulations and provides up-to-date information on: the content, scope, and timing of information and consultation by the central management and the associated levels of coordination, the right of EBR actors to request information from central management for the establishment of a body, as well as the reporting obligation of the EBR to all national interest representatives or directly to the employees, and the composition rules of the special negotiating body and the EBR.
