In many cases, exams fail not due to a lack of knowledge of substantive law, but rather due to methodological shortcomings. Among these, insufficient understanding of the interpretation of norms and the application of a norm to a specific case is the most significant issue. The textbook on the legal method of case handling assists in transforming substantive knowledge into a successful case solution. Numerous examples from the fields of administrative and social law illustrate the methodological rules for effective implementation in specific exam situations. The authors' experiences as lecturers and examiners in state examinations, in the diploma program, as well as in the current training aimed at obtaining a "Bachelor" degree, have been incorporated into this work.
