The work evaluates the Baden-Württemberg options model of the "Unified Point of Contact" (EA), according to which, in addition to the chambers, cities and counties can optionally act as an EA. Following a legal examination of the chosen model, which also considers technical and organizational framework conditions, there is a detailed empirical analysis of the selected structures and procedures carried out. The analyses are complemented by perceptions from administrative practice and the affected service providers, as well as comparisons with models from other federal states. This allows for a practical identification of the advantages and disadvantages, as well as optimization potentials of the options model.
