The Care Strengthening Act III has been passed. Since January 1, 2017, the new regulations established by PSG II have come into effect for the first time, particularly regarding the expanded definition of care and the new assessment rules. Whether the various measures will be effective is a matter of debate. In this situation, lawyers, care facilities, counseling centers, social benefit providers, especially health and long-term care insurance, as well as social welfare providers, medical services, and assessors, associations of independent welfare providers, private facility operators, and affected individuals and their relatives need to be familiar with and understand the new regulations. The already sixth edition of the standard-setting work by Griep/Renn, authors with decades of professional experience in care law, takes all changes into account. It processes all innovations from PSG I, PSG II, and PSG III.
