The area of the Nuremberg Rally Grounds, which was developed between 1933 and 1938 over more than eleven square kilometers, still bears witness to the megalomania of National Socialism. The rallies held here were designed to showcase Adolf Hitler and the NSDAP. Nuremberg was not only an important venue for National Socialist propaganda but also a central location for the examination and prosecution of Nazi crimes. After the end of the Third Reich, the Nuremberg Trials against key figures of the Nazi regime took place in the Palace of Justice from 1945 to 1949. This book presents the history of both sites.
