The idyllic hike of Commissioner Zondler and his girlfriend Jette in the Lautertal on the Swabian Jura is abruptly interrupted: they find a corpse in a forest cabin. Jette recognizes the man as her homeopath from Hayingen. They check into the Gasthof Kreuz. Together with the local colleague, Zondler begins the investigation. Even before any motive can be discerned, a second murder occurs. The victim: the neighbor of the deceased. Zondler suspects a connection between the two crimes. As in the first book "Grabsharing," the story is filled with humor and Swabian charm. The author actually hiked all the locations of this second Zondler crime novel herself last year.
