Linnea and Magnus just want to feed the chickens they discovered in the strange garden shortly before Easter. But then suddenly there’s also a rabbit. A black, fluffy rabbit with white ears and twitchy whiskers. However, it’s not allowed to roam freely like the chickens; it must always stay in its cage. “So it doesn’t get restless,” says Mr. Kröger, the owner of the garden. Linnea and Magnus are horrified. Mr. Kröger doesn’t intend to slaughter the rabbit, does he? Of course, they have to save Black Fluff first. But before they can do that, it’s Easter, and Linnea, Magnus, and Anna have to go to their dad in Bremen. They can only take care of Black Fluff once they are back home with their mom. She’s not exactly thrilled about her two youngest’s rabbit rescue attempt, but then Anna has an idea.
