Anders lebt
German, Peter Kron, 2015Product details
Anders Gross is in his mid-fifties and has achieved many of the things he wished for. After studying, he embarked on a career in journalism and lives in a harmonious marriage near Zurich. However, he ultimately fails to live up to his own ideals. When his son Eric returns from a development aid mission in Sri Lanka with a Muslim woman who is expecting his child, he slips into a crisis. He finds himself torn between openness, boundaries, and the fear of losing his identity. Multiculturalism becomes a stumbling block in what seems to be an intact family. In this crisis situation, he meets a young student who reminds him of his first love in Basel.
