This book introduces the approaches: correlation, regression (linear, multiple, nonlinear), logistic (binary, multinomial), and ordinal regression, as well as survival time analysis (mortality table method, Kaplan-Meier approach, and Cox regressions). Further sections deal with additional regression analytical approaches and models (e.g., partial least squares regression, ridge regression, modeling of individual growth curves). Possible pitfalls and frequently made mistakes are also discussed. Separate sections summarize the various prerequisites for performing the respective analysis, as well as approaches for checking them. This book is written in a pleasantly understandable and application-oriented manner, but without neglecting the complexity and thus the necessary depth when presenting the methods.
