Regina Gattringer analyzes in her study the planning and implementation of Open Foresight processes, where various companies collaboratively create future scenarios and innovative as well as disruptive ideas. She explores the questions of which process phases and activities need to be considered and which key factors are relevant in each phase. The questions are examined theoretically on one hand and analyzed in practice through an Action Research study on the other. Together with six companies in the fields of industry and services, an Open Foresight process is implemented on the topic of "Human-Machine Interface and Machine-to-Machine Communication as Enablers for New Business Models.".
