Everything essential, nothing superfluous - this is the guiding principle of the school dictionary, which is specifically tailored to the needs of students: easy navigation, quick finding of the desired words, and understandable word explanations. The dictionary achieves this goal through its clear, two-color layout and practical tabbing. Additionally, the vocabulary offered is significantly reduced compared to other dictionaries (less specialized vocabulary and additional information, such as word division, cases, origin, and rare word combinations). Instead, numerous examples of usage and phrases are provided for the keywords. Common spelling pitfalls are highlighted in colored boxes. The new edition takes into account the changes in the official word list; furthermore, around 300 new entries have been added, reflecting the current state.
