The exercise book complements the work "Mathematics and Technical Calculations – Workbook for Vocational Preparation." It is reduced in scope and task level, making it particularly suitable for support classes and students with a migration background. Calculation methods and techniques are presented in very small learning steps for students with language difficulties or limited prior knowledge. The numerous practice tasks, which increase in difficulty, give learners confidence. In addition to the basic arithmetic operations, applied calculation methods are also practiced. The practical problems are oriented towards the students' experience. Abstract problem statements are avoided, and domestic and technical topics are equally represented. The language level of the explanations, examples, and tasks is intentionally kept simple and clear.
