Summer, sun, sea. Sophie Sturm, a gossip reporter for a glossy magazine in Hamburg, is enjoying the festival at her friend Tina's place in Fehmarn. But barely back in Hamburg, she receives a confusing email from an unknown sender named "Joringel": Tina's new nanny is said to have been a pimp and a murderer. Sophie thinks it's a bad joke and ignores the message. However, it soon becomes clear how serious the situation really is: the unknown sender begins to kill and apparently finds a gruesome pleasure in the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm.
