A "Pedagogy of the Natural Sciences" examines, on one hand, successful learning and, on the other hand, successful education with and through the natural sciences. For learning and education to be successful, the subject-specific didactic focus must be directed at both the subject and the object of learning and education in natural science instruction. In the intertwining of subjectivation and objectivation, we see the fruitful moment of scientific educational processes, which thus acquire both a pedagogical and a political dimension. This book discusses the essential, theoretically rich elements of a critical and modern science didactics.
