Rebellion arises from hope. Galen Erso and his family are hiding from the Empire on the planet Lah'mu. However, they are discovered by Director Krennic, who orders the execution of Galen's wife and takes him away to help the Empire develop a ultimate weapon. Only his daughter Jyn manages to escape. Fifteen years later, Jyn is tasked by the Rebellion to make contact with her father. Allegedly, Galen possesses information that could give the Rebellion an advantage.
