This book chronologically describes the five-day Slavic excursion with students from the University of Innsbruck in May 2013 to Pannonia, to the Gradiscanski Hrvati, the Burgenland Croats in Austria and Hungary. An informative section at the end also focuses on the settlements in Slovakia, which could not be visited due to time constraints. The written exam papers of the students complement the descriptions of the daily activities and locations, with contributions from Giuliana Baljak, Sabine Fasser, Tobias Wirthensohn, and Tomislav Rosic. On three evenings and during visits to two schools, representatives of the ethnic groups were met and interviewed. Conversations were held with twenty of the respondents at a later time, allowing for interesting comparisons between the different perspectives of the individual participants.
