In the architectural region of Vorarlberg, Markus Gohm and Ulf Hiessberger have established themselves as a significant presence with their contextual architectural concepts away from the mainstream since founding their joint office in 1991. This award-winning architect duo plays on the tectonic keyboard at all scales, being skilled in residential construction, public buildings, and commercial projects. The book title "Gohm Hiessberger - vis-à-vis" represents their 25 years of collaboration at the same table. The main part, a photographic essay, is dedicated to the transformation of their buildings through use and time. In this way, Markus Gohm himself documents the current status of their structures.
