This first monograph of the internationally active Vorarlberg architect Oskar Leo Kaufmann offers an immediate insight into his work and is also a unique book object. In reverse chronological order, the unaltered printed competition entries are presented, along with photographs of the buildings where the projects have been realized. The focus is not on descriptive texts, but on the graphic representation and details of the individual projects. This is an attractive yet unembellished approach that clearly conveys the architect's stance. To be able to "encase" the originally large-format competition boards between two covers, designer Yvonne Rüscher developed a concept that allows for the doubling of the format and ensures the readability of the content.
