Wolfgang Blankenburg (1928-2002) is considered one of the great thinkers in psychopathology as well as psychiatric anthropology and philosophy. After teaching at the universities of Freiburg and Heidelberg, he served as a full professor and head of the University Clinic for Psychiatry in Marburg. The work "The Loss of Natural Self-Evidence" is his most well-known piece, which has been translated into several languages. This new edition makes it accessible to the public once again.
