Anja Kroll, born on February 7, 1963, in Constance, is a Swiss paraglider pilot of German nationality. She won the European Championship title with her team in 2006 in Morzine and became the overall World Cup winner in 2007 and 2008. Growing up in Germany, she moved to Switzerland in 1999 and currently lives in Zurich. She studied computer science (FH) and works as an IT project manager and key account manager. She started paragliding in 2001 and has been regularly participating in competitions since 2003. In 2003 and 2004, she won the Cross Country Cup. Since 2004, she has been a pilot in the Swiss Paragliding League and joined the Swiss national team in 2006. With her team, she won the European Championship title in Morzine in 2006 and was the runner-up at the Swiss Paragliding Championship in Monte Lema the same year. Additionally, she secured third place in the overall World Cup for paragliders in that year.
