Wolfgang is taken by the police to a closed youth psychiatric facility. In his conversations with the psychologist, a picture slowly emerges of a family completely dominated by a tyrannical father. Wolfgang has always tried to protect his mother and his younger sister Leonie. However, the means by which the father suppresses his family become increasingly drastic, until he even threatens them with his army weapon. One day, Leonie holds the weapon in her hand - and then something terrible happens.
