The booklet presents a collection of teaching materials suitable for further work following the reading of 'Paula, the Bookworm.' Corresponding materials have been designed for each story. The materials are intended for grades 1 to 4. Many aspects of German language instruction are taken into account in this pool of ideas and materials: tasks related to spelling, precise reading, and text comprehension are included, as well as ideas for creatively processing the various stories. Both beginner and advanced readers and writers will find useful resources. Many of these tasks are designed as photocopy templates and can be easily used during open teaching phases. Some tasks serve as a treasure trove for teachers to make individual teaching phases more engaging. A special highlight is a practical report on adapting the story 'Paula, the Bookworm' into a theater play, complete with tips for costume and set design.
