This series is aimed at both beginner readers and children who speak German as a second language. Clear narrative structures, manageable text length, simple vocabulary, short sentences, lines divided into meaningful units, large print, and not least the many lovingly designed illustrations to color ensure a successful experience for even less experienced young readers. The children search for and write the page titles themselves. With the accompanying tasks, children can demonstrate their understanding of what they have read. Puzzles, search tasks, fill-in-the-blank texts, questions to answer, or language and vocabulary exercises for writing and coloring provide variety.
